The Game
The MR X-Division format brings the excitement of multi-point paintball to the MR Series for 2008.  Teams will play a series of back to back games to determine the winner of each match and ultimately the winner of the event.

How does my team win?
Matches will be won when the first team reaches a score of 7 points, or when 15 minutes of actual game (stop time) play has expired.  The game clock will stop with each and every point.  If the game time expires, the team with the most points is the winner.  If teams are tied at this point, a sudden death overtime of one point will be played.  The winner of this point will be declared the winner of the match.

How do we earn points for ranking?
2 points will be awarded for each win, one point for an overtime loss, and zero points for a regulation loss.  The top 4 teams will qualify for the finals.  1st place will play 4th place for a spot in the final.  2nd Place and Third place will play for the other spot in the finals.  The winners will play for 1st and 2nd.  The losers will play for 3rd and 4th.  Ties will broken using head to head games 1st and with point difference 2nd.

Where will we stage for our games?
The Pits will have AIR for guns, a chronograph area, water, and fruit available to make sure all your players NEVER miss a beat!!
Teams will switch ends every 3rd point.  Teams will start at the station closest to their pit area.  There will be a 2 minute break between each point, for players to reload, and air up.

When should we show up?
Teams will be able to report to the PIT area, at least one full match before they play.  2 10X20 tents with tables will be used, lots of room for 2, even 3 teams.

How many players do I need for my team?
There will 5 Players on the field for each point.
7 Players MAX per Match
Teams may roster a MAX of 10 players per event,
again no more then 7 per match

How are penalties assessed?
No timed penalties.  The normal 1for1 - 2for1 - 3for1 will be used.  In the instance of a penalty, the players will be pulled according to the call (2 for a 241 etc)  In addition the penalized team will also play one player short for the next points, depending on the call made on the field.  A team will play short for 1 point 1for1, 2points 2for1, and 3 points 3for1.  No team may play more then 2 player short.  If more the 2 players are to sit due to penalty, one point will be automatically awarded to the opponent.

What firing modes are permitted?
Firing Modes that will be legal for the X-DIV will be either the PSP Mode or the MILLENNIUM Mode.  NXL mode is not permitted; all markers must stop shooting when the trigger is released.  The CAP for BPS is 13.5.
